Inspired by her own charcoal studio mess, where creativity flows like a river on a rainy day, Nicolle once again brings to life a stunning range of silk scarves featuring an imaginative cherry rain,  aquatic zebras, intricate stitched figures, swallow birds, and lantana flowers.  

'Black & Blue'

The Black and Blue collection was born out of an experimental piece featuring monochromatic curves. As I worked on 'The Seamstress', I began to incorporate quilting needlepoint to accentuate specific lines, introducing texture and depth. This led to the creation of 'The Jester', which in turn inspired a new series of works characterized by a rich interplay of color, texture, shape, and depth. The Black & Blue Collection is the result of this unexpected yet exciting creative journey."

'The Lake'

The Lake House Collection is a poignant series of paintings that invite viewers to step into the intimate and nostalgic world of a cherished home. Through Nicolle's brushstrokes, areas of the lake house are transported to canvas, capturing moments of warmth and tranquility. Family gatherings, lazy afternoons, and quiet evenings are frozen in time, as Nicolle lovingly renders the interiors of the lake house, replete with period-specific decor that whispers stories of seasons past. With each painting, the artist preserves the essence of a bygone era, suspending the passage of time and beckoning the viewer to linger in the comfort and familiarity of a sanctuary.
